The Last Will and Testament of Margaret Canavan Gibbons
This is the last will and testament of Margaret Canavan Gibbons. I will and request that the following disposition be made of my property viz
That my farm being west half of Lot No.12 in the 13th Concession of Wellesley west section may be sold at any convenient time and to the best advantage, together with what stock and implements and grain will not be required to run the fifty acres being west half of the east half of lot Number 12 in the Twelfth Concession of said Township of Wellesley west section.
The proceeds of said sale to be applied to pay off mortgage on said fifty acres of land.
The said fifty acres of land is to be kept if possibly as a home for the family in which case each of the following named persons is to have an equal share.
Viz John Gibbons, Michael Gibbons, Albert Gibbons, William Gibbons, Mary Jane Gibbons and Maggie Gibbons.
Or if they desire to sell the farm which is the said fifty acres
Then the girls viz Annie Gibbons, Mary Jane Gibbons and Maggie Gibbons be paid fifty dollars ($50.00) each and Luke Gibbons five dollars and what is left to be divided in equal proportions between the said John Gibbons, Michael Gibbons, Albert Gibbons, and William Gibbons share and share alike after paying all mortgages and debts incurred by me.
I appoint Michael Gibbons, Albert Gibbons, and Stephen Welsh to be my executors of this my last will and testament.
