The purpose of this website is to share information and gather new facts on the Gibbons family. This is a working document and not necessarily definitive. Whenever possible, primary sources, such as, baptismal, marriage, census, death records, etc. have been used. However, there is information contained in the site that and has been compiled by other researchers and published on the Internet. It is my hope that the information presented will promote critical analysis and that those using the website will submit additions and corrections. Obviously, the goal is to obtain the most accurate information possible and resolve conflicting information through collaboration with other researchers. I have not provided my sources but will be happy to respond to those requesting sources for particular references. Genealogy is a hobby for me.
