Descendants of Thomas Gibbons

I believe that this family is very possibly related to Patrick Gibbons of West Gwillimbury and also to our original Patrick Gibbons, however I have not found documentation to support this.

This was his second marriage and it is assumed that his first wife, Mary, had died; died 19 Dec 1855 in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada,. The tombstone states that Thomas was accidentally killed by the fall of a tree; buried 21 Dec 1855 in Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Cemetery, West Gwillimbury, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. Patrick is listed as born and living in Adjala, 32 yrs old, a farmer, and son of Patrick O'Leary and Ellen Ryan. Mary is listed as 25 years old, born and living in Bradford and the daughter of Lawrence Gibbons and Mary O'Donnell; died 1926.
