have a picture of the gravestone. It states John died Oct. 2, 1902, age 89
years. However, the church record says he was 87. The obituary from the

The funeral will leave his late residence, Thames Street, on Sunday, October
5th, at 10:15am and proceed to the Church of the Sacred Heart, and thence to the

Ellen3; born 1858 in Norwich, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada;
died 1951; buried 1951 in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Ingersoll, Oxford

daughter of Redmond and Ellen Sage since she is buried in the same plot with
Sarah B., their other daughter. The stone only states "Mary Ellen Sage, 1858 -
1951."

John Gibbons, she married Patrick Quigley, son of Edward Quigley and Ann Kelly, 9 Aug 1888 in St.
Peter's Cathedral, London, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada; died 14 Apr 1922
in Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada, at age 78. Elizabeth was "laid
out" in her home and then taken to Ingersoll, where she was buried in a family
plot owned by the O'Callaghans. Her marker calls her "Bessie", apparently her
family nickname. The cause of death was listed as ateriosclerosis secondary to
myocarditis and the physician was F.S. Harper. The newspaper obituary states
that she died on Friday, April 14th, in Hamilton, however, the death certificate
states she died on the 13th; buried 17 Apr 1922 in Sacred Heart Catholic

sister, Elizabeth, shares the plot but her name is not on the marker.
- iii. Bridget Elizabeth; born 21 Oct
1877 in Goldstone, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. Although Bridget was
called 'Lizzie', it is possible that she was named after her grandmother, the
mother that her father never knew due to her early death; married Arthur Armstrong, son of John B. Armstrong and
Hannah Maria Yenney; died 2 Feb 1943 in Hamilton, Wentworth
County, Ontario, Canada, at age 65. "Aunt Lizzie" died the same day as Grandpa
