years alternated between Springfield, Missouri and Shamrock. She would stay
about 6 months with her oldest son, my Uncle Will and Aunt Gus in Springfield
then the remainder of the year with us. She always traveled back and forth
by rail. She was a very petite lady and very prim. she always wore some
kind of jewelry such as a cameo pin or other kind of broach. Anytime she went anywhere she always wore a hat and gloves. She and I were very close."10
