Franks of Fulton were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Walton's Cemetery with Rev. I.K. Boyett, pastor of the Fawn Grove Freewill Baptist Church in charge. Mr. Franks was 66 years of age. Although Mr. Franks had been in failing health for some time, he was not in serious condition until about an hour before his death. He death which came at 9 am Sunday morning was attributed to heart trouble. A farmer throughout his active years, the deceased brought his family to Fulton about seven years ago. Although not a member of any denomination, Mr. Franks preferred the Freewill Baptist beliefs, and held close to the tenents of his faith. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons, Jack, Elvin, Alvin and Charles B., and two daughters, Mrs. Lola Mae Mears and Miss Lorene Franks all of Fulton.
