"Mrs. Anna Rebecca Galbraith, 67, wife of Joseph T. Galbraith, died at her home, 33 West Middle Street, Thursday at 3:45 o'clock from a complication of diseases. She had been in ill health for several years and was bedfast the last four weeks. The deceased was born in Franklin township, a daughter of the late John A. and Eliza A. (Shultz) Sharrah. She lived in Gettysburg the last 33 years and was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Pocahontas lodge. In additon to her husband she is survived by nine children: Mrs. T. Roy Enoch, John S., Lloyd C., and Mrs. Mary Trout, all of Gettysburg, Mrs. Daniel A. Strum, Jefferson City, Missouri; Margaret L. at home; Harold T., Bedford; Mrs. Harold Crowell, Gettysburg, Lorene A., at home; 16 granchildren and seven brothers and sisters, Jacob H., George W., Mary J., Oliver D., and emory L. Sharrah, all of Franklin township and Jennie L. Sharrah and Mrs. George Hampton, Gettysburg. Funeral sevices Slunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the H. B. Death* 18 April 1943, Obituary stated: "Joseph T. Galbraith, 73, of Gettysurg, a battlefield guide here for a number of years, died Sunday at 4:30 pm at a Harrisburg hospital. He was born in Cumberland county, a son of the late John H. and Agnes E. Carbaugh Galbraith and was a farmer most of his life. He lived in Adams county for 40 years.
The wife of the deceased, the former Anna r. Sharrah died in 1938.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs. T. Roy Enoch, Gettysburg, Lloyd C. Galbraith, Gettysburg; Mrs. Mary G. Trout, Gettysburg; Mrs. Dan Sturm, Chicago;, Miss Margaret, at home; Harold T., Greensburg;, mrs. Harold Cromwell, Gettysburg and Mrs. Eugene Wilson, Lancaste, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Three brothers and a sister also survive. They are Andrew J. Galbraith, Carlisle, Clayton Galbraith, Dixon; Mrs. Edwin Wood, Bowmansdale; and Warren Galbraith, Cumberland County.
Funeral from Benders funeral home Wednesday at 2pm with Dr. Harvery D. Hoover and the Rev. Eliza Myers officiating. Internment in Evergreen cemetery."

Estate* 29 July 1875, Straban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, United States, Newspaper article states: "The undersigned, Executor of the will of Margaret Galbreath, deceased, offers at Private Sale the real estate of said decedent, situate in Straban township, Adams county, one mile and a half from Gettysburg, between the York turnpike and the Bonneauville road, adjoining lands of Daniel Lady, George Wolf and others, and containing 150 acres, more or less, improved with a one story Stone House, with back building attached, good Bank Barn, Spring House and Hog Pen. There is a good proportion of timber and a variety of fruit. The land is a good quality of granite, with numerous never-failing springs, nearly all the fields have running water. This is an excellent stock farm.
     Persons wishing to view the property will call on the tenant, Alfred F. Schriver, or on John Wertz, who will also five the terms. Frank Patterson, Executor."
