Born in Newfoundland 44 years ago, he had lived in Hamilton for the last 27 years. Mr. Walsh was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. He was a valued employee of the Steel Company of Canada and a member of the Quarter Century Club of that company. Surviving are his widow, Margaret; one son, Patrick R. and two daughters, Joan and Janet, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. W. J. Maynard, Mrs. G. J. Marshall and Miss Laura Walsh, all of Hamilton and one brother, James V. of California. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday from the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home to St. John the Baptist church for Requiem Mass at 9 am with burial in Holy Sepluchre Cemetery. |

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Monogue of 2017 Monterrey, Orange, Texas. The bride, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William B. Jensen Jr. of Grand Rapids, was given in marriage by both parents. Officiating a the double ring ceremony was Dr. Warren J. Boer. Organ music was provided by John Innes. Vocalists were Phil and Lynne Brower. Attending the bride was Laura Beauchamp of New Orleans, maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nancy Orange, Christine Zondervan, Kris Wondergem, Karen Bruinius, Marcia Jensen, Missy Boer. Jessica Edwards was flower girl and Devin Balkcom carried the rings. Best man was David Huckabay of Dallas. Groomsmen were Marty Moogue, Joe Bulovas, Chuck Timberlake, all of Orange, and Bernard Zondervan, Andy Zondervan and Dan Zondervan. Ushers were Rick Jensen, Doug Jensen and John McKenna of Galveston. A reception was held following the ceremony at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont. Barbara Dunlop registered guests. The bride is a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School and Baylor University in Waco, Texas. The groom is a graduate of West Orange-Stark High School, Orange, and Texas A & M University at College Station, Texas. The groom is employed by Fafnir Bearing, Dallas. The bride plans to attend graduate school at the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas. Following a Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Dallas., Principal=Daniel Thomas Monogue |
