Cherished Grandpa of Jonathan, Keith, Alex, Lisa, Nick, Linda, Laura and Charles. Dear brother of Joan and her husband Don Crossley. Predeceased by his brother Wally. Alex was a retired Pharmacist. He was an avid genealogist, and a longtime member of the Burlington Seniors Centre, where he enjoyed the Writing Club. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop-light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (Brant Street at Blairholm), Burlington on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to the McMaster University Medical Centre, Blood Disorder Unit would be appreciated. Many thanks to the caring staff of 3Z at McMaster, especially Gail. |
