Comment*Note possibility that Sarah was a daughter of Christopher John (ID#504) and Elizabeth Baldwin (ID#52) and living and working for Ira in 1850 (census). Ira Hobbs was a good friend of Christopher's and was the executor of his will. However, it may be more likely that Sarah was the daughter of William D. Baldwin (ID#51) since he is listed in the 1840 census as having two daughters born 1830-35, and one born 1835-39. See also the comment below.3
Birth*circa 18354,1,5
Comment1850Mockinson Gap District, Stewart County, Georgia, USA; Suspect a relationship between Sarah Baldwin b1835, John Baldwin b1839, and Harrison Baldwin b1840 in Georgia. In the 1850 Census they lived in separate households of other familes in the same district in Stewart County, and in the same district as Elizabeth Baldwin b1810 (ID#52) and family. It's possible that they are children of William D. Baldwin (ID#51) who died in 1842, or his brother Harrison Baldwin (ID#1167, not a lot known about him).

Sarah Baldwin, age 15, lived with Ira Hobbs and family, John Baldwin, age 11, lived with Sanders Lott and family, and Harrison Baldwin, age 10, lived with George Osborn and family.2

Also in the county were C. B. Bauldin and G. A. Bauldin, likely his brothers6
Comment*1840Sanders Lott; Stewart County, Georgia, USA; Sanders Lott and family are neighbors to the William Baldwin family. William Baldwin died in 1842, consider where his children appear in 1850. In 1850, a John Baldwin age 11 is in the Sanders Lott household. This may be the male age 0-4 in the William D. Baldwin household in 1840. Also note a 15 year old Sarah Baldwin in the household of Ira T. Hobbs and wife Catharine. The Hobbs were neighbors to William D.'s brother Christopher in 1850. Sarah may be one of the girls counted William D.'s household in the 1840 census.
Residence*1841Cherokee County, Georgia, USA; appeared on tax list this county, one pole7
Tax List*1841Lumpkin District, Stewart County, Georgia, USA; appeared on this tax list, the first surviving tax list for Stewart County, as "William D. Baldwin", with two plots of land. 100 acres Grade 2 quality land in Stewart County, no pole indicating probably that he did not live on this land. 160 acres Grade 3 quality land in Cherokee County, one pole. It appears he was taxed on the Cherokee County land and not that in Stewart County.7
