[this is likely Nancy Jane McCann Preston, widow of David Preston - if so, supports the theory that David Preston / Nancy Jane McCann born Ireland were Thomas W.'s parents. Reported age 85 is consistent with Nancy Preston's reported age in 1850, in household with David Preston. However, Nancy's birth place is reported Georgia in this census, while Nancy Jane McCann was born in Ireland c1781];
Also counted in the household were a John Stinson (age 45) listed as born in Ireland, and a Michael Radford (age 40) listed as born in Ireland, occupations listed as ditchers.7

Comment*Georgia, USA; In papers before the Inferior Court of Crawford County, Georgia, on the death of Nancy McCann Preston, widow of David Preston, their land was described as 658 acres in Crawford County, 250 acres in Baker County, and 202 acres in Baker County. 
EventDavid Preston; in his autobiography, William E. Preston writes:
"Grandfather and mother Preston inherited money from Ireland, and about a hundred of their negroes drove and rode the mules and wagons off to Savannah when Sherman marched through Georgia in 1864.
There was a sale of the land and division of the proceeds in 1867."3
