Angelina stated in an affadavit associated with her own bounty land application in 1856 that Noah left home in August 1822 to visit Alabama. Angelina was informed about two months later that he had died in Alabama. An auditor of the pension application by Margaret Pender stated his belief that Angelina remained his lawful wife although he married Margaret in 1837 while in Alabama.1
