A 9 year old John Ward lived with Lucinda Bush Baldwin and husband in the 1870 census. Researcher reports belief that Lucinda's first husband was Robert E. Ward, a Captain in the 33rd Alabama Infantry Regiment CSA, killed at Perryville, Kentucky in 1862.3,4
