He lived in the household of John W. Stuckey (ret grocer) and wife Elizabeth, both age 55. Three other Stuckeys lived there, ages 11-24. Two other young males also lived there, Benjamin Dowd and A. E. Webb, one a dry goods merchant and the other a school teacher. This may have been a boarding house. None lived there in the 1880 census.7
