CommentEleazer Galloway; Georgia, USA; One reference asserts that Mathew Galloway of Oglethorpe Co, GA is Eleazer's father. However, the Galloways in this area of Georgia are mostly from North Carolina and the connection to Eleazer seems tenuous, even though Eleazer was in central Georgia (Twiggs County) in 1813. He was back in SC in 1820.

And, the Melvin Galloway in the 1850 census is clearly Eleazer's son based on Eleazer estate records. The children listed in that census, and listed wife, are not in this household in 1840.
