Sansoucy, 56, 35 Broad Street, Groveland, proprieter of the Sansoucy Restaurant, Essex St., was fatally stricken at his home Sunday and was dead on arrival at the Hale Hospital. Dr. John D. Shinberg, associate medical examiner, said death was due to coronary thrombosis. He was born in Salem, son of Victor and Anna (Chouinard) Sansoucy. He operated the restaurant for several years and had previously been associated with the restaurant as a chef. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. Patrick's parish, South Groveland and a Groveland resident for 11 years. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Madeline (Moignard) Sansoucy, Groveland. The funeral will be tomorrow morning at 8 from the Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, with a high Mass of requiem at 9 at St. Patrick's Church, South Groveland. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Westville, NH. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm."9 |

Obituary | November 2019 | Obituary for Christopher Savoury It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Savoury announces his sudden passing at Pool’s Cove on Monday, November 18th, 2019, age 51 years. Christopher leaves to mourn his loving family: father, Wallace Savoury; brothers, Donald (Annette) at Pool’s Cove, Dennis (Ellen) at Grand Falls-Windsor and Matthew at St. John’s; sisters, Elizabeth Taylor (Bill) and Mary Ann, all at St. John’s; plus a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his mother, Kathleen; grandparents, Ralph and Edith Jane Marshall, and Percy and Maggie Savoury. Funeral Service was held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 am at MacDermott United Church at Pool’s Cove with Rev. Eric Hillier officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Pool’s Cove.1 |

Obituary | June 2016 | MANETTA “NETTIE” MARSHALL Passed peacefully away, on Monday, June 27th, 2016, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, NETTIE MARSHALL, of Little Bay East, NL, in her 89th year. Leaving to mourn her loving daughter Ada (John) Stapleton of Marystown; 3 grandchildren Corey Stapleton of St. John’s, Sherry-Lynn Stapleton (Jeff Dwyer) of St. John’s, and Crystal Stapleton of Marystown; 4 great grandchildren Isaiah Dwyer, Noah Gallant, Jack Gallant and Parker Dwyer; brothers Walter (Joan) Scott of Grand Falls Windsor, Herbert (Marie) Scott of Bay L’argent Junction, Clyde (Cora) Scott of Little Bay East, and Carl (Colleen) Scott of Marystown; sisters Doreen Grandy of Ottawa, ON, Joyce Meade of Stephenville, Shirley Newhook of Dunville and Marina (Herman) Denty of Little Bay East; sister-in-law Vera Scott of Paradise; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Nettie is predeceased by her husband Ewart Marshall, parents Grace & Allister Scott, and brother Fred Scott. Rev. Robert Tuck conducted the Funeral Service at Salem United Church in Little Bay East on Friday, July 1st, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Little Bay East. Donations, in Nettie’s memory, may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation. Pall bearers were Corey Stapleton (Grandson), Isaiah Dwyer (Great-Grandson), Herbert Scott (Brother), Clyde Scott (Brother), Carl Scott (Brother), Michael Scott (Nephew), and Jeffrey Dwyer (Grandson-in-law).
