Note | From another researcher: There are a lot of O'Reillys who show up as witnesses at Flynn weddings. John O'Reilly and Mary Whelan had children Patrick, Frances, William, Eliza, and John (and also Ellen who married William Collins). I wonder if Anne Whelan Flynn might have been a sister of Mary Whelan O'Reilly (so then the O'Reillys would have been first cousins of the Flynns). If so, then you would be related to Archbishop Roche since Mary Whelan O'Reilly was Archbishop Roche's great-grandmother. It's a bit of a long shot, and there's not really any way to prove it. 2 | |

He was the son of the late Walter J. and Carmel (Marshall) White. He was born in Brooklyn, New York residing in New Jersey, Florida, Boston and the past 5 years in Rochester. Mr. White earned his bachelor's degree in Social Work from Drexel University in Philadelphia and following a lengthy career in the restaurant business, he earned his master's degree in Social Work from Salem State College. He was employed as an licensed independent clinical social worker for many years most recently for Bayview Associates in Wareham. A Porsche and U2 enthusiast, he loved winning at poker, traveling to warm climates, and his adopted home town of Rochester. His family includes his companion, Elizabeth Martin; 2 brothers, Dr. Walter P. White and his wife, Vivian of Wetumpka, Alabama and Charles G. White and his wife, Patricia of Sewell of New Jersey; a sister, Juliana T. White of Philadelphia and 3 nieces. Calling hours are omitted. His Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady Of The Assumption Church Wednesday morning at 9:00. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Rochester. Please omit flowers.
