Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late James and Maude (Faulkner) Drake. She was a chartered member of the Edward Cornwallis Chapter IODE. She is survived by three daughters, Joan (Mrs. Norman Brunt), Charlene (Mrs. Edward Greenfield, Elaine Chaisson, all of Dartmouth; son, Richard, Vancouver, B.C.; sister Marjorie (Mrs. Vincent Peach), Halifax; brother, Arnold, Halifax; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; a daughter in infancy; three brothers and a sister. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Halifax, visiting 7-9 p.m. tonight, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sundany in St. Philip's Anglican Church, Rev. Don Ruggles officiating. Spring burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or St. Philip's Memorial Fund."2
