Obituary | July 2009 | Newfoundland, Canada; DALTON (nee Hartson), Philomena - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, Philomena M. Dalton, aged 83 years of Admiral's Beach. Predeceased by her husband Alban J. Dalton, September 2003, parents Richard and Isabelle Hartson, her brothers James and Thomas and sister Theresa Kean, son-in-law Adrian Fleming. Left with cherished memories are her five sons: Richard, Rom (Debbie), John (Michelle) all of Admiral's Beach, Jim (Barb), Joe (Jeanie) all of St. John's; her daughters: Ann Marie (Craig), Gertrude Mitchell (Jerry), Mary Earles (John), all of St. John's, Isabelle Fleming, Foxtrap, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends Patsy and Allan Power, also a circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, Admiral's Beach. Visitation on Thursday from 3-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Please visit www.dunphys.ca to sign the memorial guest book or to send a message of condolence.2 |
