1991 - 2013
With much sadness and heartache we announce the passing of our daughter Katelyn on Saturday September 14th, 2013 at the age of 22. She will be forever loved and missed by her mom and dad, Calvin and Nancy and her big brother, Jamie of New Maryland. She was the much loved granddaughter of Fintan and Mary St. Croix of South Branch Joyce Barnett of Clarks Corner. A special niece to her uncles, Steven Barnett (Melissa Durling) of Fredericton, Fintan St. Croix of Fredericton, Edgar (Carol), Raphael, Darrell (Tina) and Wilfred (Judy) St. Croix all of NL and her aunts, Sandra Barnett (Ian Hughes) of ON, Doris Stoddart (Paul) of NS and Cora (Alvin) MacIsaac of NL. Cousins Ella Barnett, Alisha Benoit, David and Joe St. Croix. Her best friend Jordan Laughlin and her special fur babies Celeste, Odie and Spartacus. Katelyn was predeceased by her grampie, Bob Barnett. Katelyn attended FHS, graduating in 2009 and Eastern College in 2011 with a certificate in Veterinarian Administrative Assistant. She was currently employed at New Maryland Pharmacy. Katelyn had a deep love of animals and would have rescued every stray if she could, a passion for horses and riding, fishing and "mudding" with her car, (even when we told her not to) and spending time with her friends.1
