He is survived by his brother Lawrie Paxton and sister Lorene Lukashal. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Informant was Mrs. Ada McCarthy of the same address, wife. Burial was January 30, 1929 in Mount Hope Cemetery by undertaker F. Rosar. Medical Certificate states that he died on Jauary 28th and had been seen by Dr. R. A. Belfry two days earlier for Angina Pectoris. Cause of death was Coronary thrombosis. 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (Brant Street at Blairholm), Burlington on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington.

Death7 November 1915 Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada; "The death of Edward Quigley, a molder by trade and a well known resident, occurred about 11 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of his nephew, Robert Haffey, West Oxford township. His death came as a shock to the family circle and his friends as his illness was only of short duration. He was taken suddenly ill Saturday night, and a physician was called. At that time, however, his condition was not recognized as particularly dangerous, and it was expected he would recover in a short time. Later, however, he took a turn for the worse and his death ensued, about 11 o'clock Sunday morning. Deceased was born in Ingersoll and for many years had been employed at the Noxon Works. He worked till noon on Saturday. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and was well known to the people of Ingersoll. Deceased was unmarried and is survived by one brother, Patrick Quigley of London, and one sister, Miss Quigley of Ingersoll."2 
Burial8 November 1915 Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Ingersoll, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada; "The funeral of the late Edward Quigley, took place this morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, thence to the RC Cemetery and was attended by many relatives and friends. The pallbearers were Messrs. Pat O'Rourke, D. Howe, M. J. Comiskey, T. O'Meara, John Lenihan and D. McCowell."3
