August 5th, 2015
It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our best friend, our protector and gentle giant, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. John was just 35 years old, predeceased by both his parents, Mary and Steve St. Croix. It is no exaggeration to say that he leaves to mourn every single person who ever met him. Especially the source of all love and wonder in his life, Yvette Oliver, his big sister, Stephanie Wood, his brother-in-law, Gareth Wood, grandmother Anastatia Yetman, lifelong friends, Sandy MacDonald, Trevor Barrett, Brad Ryan, Sean Molloy, Mark Simpson, Derek Gosine, Miranda Deering, Jeff Denny, Cheryl Burry, Blair Butler and the Soothe Spa Family, cousin Brad Yetman, special Aunt Bertha Yetman, new co-workers at Colemans and a host of friends and family members so great that no newspaper could ever hold the full list. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday from 6-9 p.m. A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 11th, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at St. Mary's cemetery on Wednesday, August 12th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we request something different to honour our beloved John. The next time you have just a few dollars in your pocket, stop. Think about it and give it to someone who truly has nothing. Good night, Batman. We will love and miss you always.
