She was female, white, attending school, born on October 12, 1908 and was 14 years, 10 months and 12 days old. She was the daughter of Martin Syron and Bridget Killeen, both born in Ireland. Martin was the informant. Burial is to be on the 27th of August in Cathedral Cemetery. Medical Certificate states that she died of Chronic Endocarditis and Mitral Valve with dilation of the heart of 6 months duration. Obituary25 August 1923 The Scranton Republican, Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States; "Mary Syron, aged 14 years, died Thursday night in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Syron, 113 North Fillmore Avenue following a long illness. The girl was a student at St. Patrick's High School and her death came as a sad blow to her classmates and friends throughout the city. Besides her parents she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Thomas, Martin Jr. , Anna and Thomas (should be Marguerite). The funeral will take place Monday morning with a high mass of requiem at 9:30 o'clock in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery."2

Her usual address was 720 N. Sumner Ave., Scranton, Pennsylvania. She was female, white, single, born March 17, 1888 in Pennsylvania, aged 75 years, occupation "dressmaker and had her own business". Her parents were Dominick Syron, born Ireland and and Ellen Gallagher, also born Ireland. Burial is to take place on September 14 in Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton. The informant of the above information was Mrs. Jos. M. Norton of 36 Archbald, Carbondale. Medical Death Certificate states: She died on September 10, 1953 and was seen by the doctor from June 10, 1943 (should be 1953) until September 10, 1943 (should be 1953). She died at 3:30am. Cause of death was bronchogenic Carcinoma and cardiac fibrillation and there was metastses to the cervical glands. She had it for 5 months, 2 weeks and did not have any surgery.3
