The Anglican Church in Stoneham is located on the corner of the Highway and the main road into the village of Stoneham.  It is still in operation but with limited hours.  It was built in 1839 and there is a graveyard on the side.  "The people I am taking with me will serve me well, and their skill and industry will herald a new day in all things related to fa4rming.   I also have excellent millwrights an d wheelwrights, who can make furrow ploughs and trench ploughs, horseshoes, and all the modern equipment of the new English agriculture, now widespread among farmers who only seven years ago knew nothing of all this..."  Reverend Philip Toosey, 1792
