For the Quarter Sessions

 

Deposition of James Ryder, Shoemaker, Valcartier.

 

Deposeth upon oath taken before me Alex J Wolff, Esquire, one of His Majesty’s Justices assigned to keep the peace within the District of Quebec on the 22nd day of July 1836.

 

That on the evening of the twentieth instant one Thomas Cassin of Valcartier assaulted, beat and bruised him so a to endanger his life putting him in bodily fear without provocation or cause and against the Peace of Our Lord the King, Further the said deponent saith not.
