Read the minutes of the last meeting.
The Board resumed the consideration of the Petions before the Board where the following Lots of unconceded Lands in the different Ranges of Concessions in the Seigniory of St. Gabriel were granted to the follow persons:
Reverend J. Mills - No. 3 and 4 Fifth Range of Concess. with the Island in front thereof NW side Jaq. Cartier River
Captain Fowles - No. 5 and 6 Same Range
5th Range of Conc. SEast side :
J. Wilson - No. 14
John Emery (Enery?) - No. 15
J. B. Noreau - No. 17
Edw. Sweeney - No. 19
John O'Neill - No. 22
- No. 23 reserved for his brother in Europe
Jacob Pozen - The lots adjoining the former grant made to him by the Board 3rd and 4th Concess.
The whole of the above Lots granted upon the terms and conditions stipulated in the Deeds of Concession to Mr. Neilson and Mr. Stewart and the further stipulations contained in the late grant to Lieut. Harvey (?)/ The Secretary reported to the Board that he had engaged a party to open a Road directed by the minutes of the Board of the 29th. The accounts of the agent at Three Rivers being laid before the Board ordered that not being made in Conformity with his instructions the calculations examined and the accounts returned to him, directing him to pay the Balance into the hands of the Treasurer N. W. Ryland, Esq. likewise to inform him that such irregularity must not happen again but greater punctuality observed inn transmitting his account as soon after the six monthly periods are expired as possibly.
