On this day the twenty eighth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand nine hundred and twenty one, before me Cyrille Renauld, notary, residing at Loretteville, undersigned, personally appeared Mrs Suzann Brown, wife of John McBain, Farmer, residing in the parish of St. Gabriel of Valcartier, who being of sound and disposing mind, memory and under-standing hath requested us the said notary to write down and received in due form of law her last will and testament which he has declared in manner and form following that is to say.

1.- I most willingly resign my soul into the hands of almighty God, my creator in the humble hope that he will receive it to his favor through the sole merits and intercession of Jesus Christ my savior.

2.-I desire that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid by my executor herein after named as soon as possible after my death.

3.-I give and bequeath unto my husband John McBain all my moveable and immoveable properties wherever the same may be found and to whatever the same shall amount hereby constituting my said husband my universal legatee and the executrix of this my will and testament.

4.-I revoke all wills and testaments I may have heretofore made and I declare the present to be my only true last will and testament.

            DONE and Passed at Loretteville under notarial number eight thousand seven hundred and thirty.  After the reading of the present will to the testator by the notary in the presence of Jules Falalardeau, merchant, Albert Fournier, carriage maker, both of Loretteville witnesses requested, the testator, the notary and the witnesses have signed in the presence of each others.
