On this nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty one.
Before me Cyrille Renaud, Notary, residing at Loretteville, undersigned personally appeared.
Patrick Cassin residing at Loretteville, who being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding hath requested me to said notary to write down and received in due for of law his last will and testament which he has declared in manner and form following that is to say.
DONE AND PASSED at Loretteville under nortarial number eight thousand seven hundred and seventy four. After reading of the said will to the testator by the notary in presence of Jules Falardeau and Joseph Chartre both merchants, Loretteville, the testator having declared his inability to sign his name has made his mark in presence of the notary and witnesses and the notary and witnesses have signed in the presence of the testator and in the presence of each others.

Notes by Patricia Balkcom: Patrick Cassin was my 1st cousin, three times removed. He and Mary Ann married later in life and did not have any children. He died three years after writing this will – 30 August, 1924 at the age of 75.
