Marriage took place in the Roman Catholic Cathedral, in 1879, the bride was the daughter of J. P. Walsh of St. Mary's Bay (does that mean Justice of the Peace or is that his initials?). She will be forever loved and missed by her mom and dad, Calvin and Nancy and her big brother, Jamie of New Maryland. She was the much loved granddaughter of Fintan and Mary St. Croix of South Branch Joyce Barnett of Clarks Corner. A special niece to her uncles, Steven Barnett (Melissa Durling) of Fredericton, Fintan St. Croix of Fredericton, Edgar (Carol), Raphael, Darrell (Tina) and Wilfred (Judy) St. Croix all of NL and her aunts, Sandra Barnett (Ian Hughes) of ON, Doris Stoddart (Paul) of NS and Cora (Alvin) MacIsaac of NL. Cousins Ella Barnett, Alisha Benoit, David and Joe St. Croix. Her best friend Jordan Laughlin and her special fur babies Celeste, Odie and Spartacus. Katelyn was predeceased by her grampie, Bob Barnett. Katelyn attended FHS, graduating in 2009 and Eastern College in 2011 with a certificate in Veterinarian Administrative Assistant. She was currently employed at New Maryland Pharmacy. Katelyn had a deep love of animals and would have rescued every stray if she could, a passion for horses and riding, fishing and "mudding" with her car, (even when we told her not to) and spending time with her friends.1 |

Obituary | May 2013 | Kenneth St. Croix Passed on: May 26th, 2013 Age 57 years, formerly of St. Stephen’s, St. Mary’s Bay, passed away at his home in Wawa, Ontario, on May 26, 2013. Ken is predeceased by his father Stan, mother Lucy (nee Hicks), brother Gerald, and brother-in-law Len Hynes. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts his sisters: Ann Hynes, Barbara Follett (Bren); brothers: Ray, Mike (Sylvia), John (Jean), Kevin (Roxanne); uncle Patrick Hicks, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Newfoundland as well as his fishing buddies in Wawa. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family. He will be forever loved and fondly remembered. “We only part to meet again” Rest in peace, Ken.2 |

Obituary | April 2019 | Kerry Gerard St. Croix July 15, 1961 - April 21, 2019 On April 21, 2019. Kerry completed his journey in life (Age 57). Kerry was a loving Husband and a Precious Dad to us... his wife Barbara (Dalton) and their children Brent & Kerri-lynn. In his kind and gentle way Kerry has passed on his strength to us. We will hold dear our precious memories of our lives together with Kerry. Left behind with their own special memories are his mom Josephine St. Croix. His brothers, sisters and their spouses , Des (Kathleen), Myra, Melvin (Brenda), Elaine (Keith Roberts), Sharmaine (Mark Dillon), Glenyase (Joe Kiska), Matt (Teresa), Melinda (Kevin MacIntosh) and Wanda. His Nieces and Nephews. Leon, Chris (Amanda and great-niece Madison), Kayla, Stefan, Kalab, Natasha, Kiara & Keeley. Kerry also leaves behind his brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; Annemarie (Ambrose), Mary (Brian), Frank (Florence), Nora (Joe), Rich, Fred (Kaye), Gerald (Angela), Alice (Tom), Patsy (Wayne), and Cecil (Tammy) and their children. Kerry is predeceased by his Dad, Austin St. Croix , baby brother Joseph, brother-in-law Bren White and his parents-in-law Ronald & Genevieve Dalton. Thanks to Stacy Dort, (Community Health Nurse) for her excellent care and kindness to Kerry during his last days at home. Thanks to the Nurses and Doctors at the Palliative Care center, to all the Nurses from 4 North B (HSC) and the Nurses from cancer clinic. Special thanks to Dr Armstrong, Dr McIssaic, Dr Thava, Dr Roy, Dr Hogan and Dr Quigley. Cremation has taken place. Visitation: Thursday, April 25th from 2 - 9 pm & Friday, April 26th from 11 am - 1 pm. Followed by a Prayer Service at 1 pm. All to take place at Fahey’s Funeral Home in Trepassey, NL. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accept or a donation can be made in his name to the Elaine Dobbin Center for Autism, St John's, NL or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.1 |
