This confuses the question of parentage for Patrick, Aiden and Teresa (who married John J. McGrath). Teresa, in her marriage record, states her parents are John St. Croix and Elizabeth Stamp. Patrick in his baptismal record, it is stated that his parents are John St. Croix and Bridget Pippy. Aiden's baptismal record lists his parents as John St. Croix and Bridget (no last name). Passed peacefully away at the GN Hospital (Edmonton) in the presence of his family, after fighting cancer, on September 17th, 2016, Paul Edward St. Croix, aged 59 years. Predeceased by his parents: John (1996) and Rita (Halleran) St. Croix (2003); his brothers: Randolph (1975) and Richard (2015) and his niece Robyn Peddle (2009). Leaving to mourn brothers: Christopher and Sebastian (Madelyn); sisters: Mildred Cahill (Brian), Jackie St. Croix, and Helen Peddle (Randal); sister-in-law Louise Daley; nephews and nieces: Adam and Alana Cahill, Christine and Maria Peddle, Rita-Jane, John, Claire, Pierre and Adrian St. Croix. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John's, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 22nd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road, St. John's. Interment will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 in Sacred Heart Cemetery, St. Vincent's, St. Mary's Bay. He, like his brother Ben, went to Boston at an early age to fish. Peter returned home for a visit in the late 1930's. He left home for St. John's after he'd been home for a few days and said he would return the following evening. The next word from Peter was that he was back in Boston. He made no contact with his family after that and little was heard of him until he died. Peter was never married." - Bren St. Croix1,4

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Terrance St. Croix announce his passing on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 at the age of 49 years. He was predeceased by his brother, Randy St. Croix; sister, Gemma St. Croix; grandmother/guardian, Annie St. Croix and father-in-law, Roy MacIsaac. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving family: wife, Cynthia of 27 years marriage; daughter, Pamela (Kollyn Molloy); mother and father, Ita and Gareth St. Croix; brothers, Steve (Eileen) St. Croix, Bruce (Colleen) St. Croix, Leon St. Croix, Mitchell St. Croix and sister, Lucina (Gerald) Smith; mother-in-law, Lucy MacIsaac; brothers-in-law, Guy (Marilyn) MacIsaac, Leon (Paulette) MacIsaac, Cletus (Rhonda) MacIsaac, Edwin MacIsaac, Roy (Roxanne) MacIsaac; sisters-in-law Diane (Wilfred) Cormier, Darlene (Conrad) Gale and a large circle of extended family and many friends. Following cremation, visitation took place on Monday, Nov. 3 at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church in South Branch. The funeral mass took place on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 10:30 a.m. at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church, officiated by Father Maurice O'Quinn. Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, on Friday, January 15, 2016, Philip St. Croix, of St. Vincent's, S.M.B., retired Department of Highways employee, aged 90 years. Predeceased by Wife Bessie (1994), son Philip (1979), parents Aiden & Bridget; brothers: Jack, Lawrence, Peter, Gus and sister Mildred. Leaving to mourn with fond memories daughter Louise (Kenneth), his many special "kids", especially Carol Ann, Regina and Tony, two grandchildren Terrance and Richard, great-granddaughter Brianna, brothers Aiden (Geraldine) and Dermot, sisters Mary and Helen (Tom), sisters-in-law Edna and Catherine, many nieces and nephews, including Linda, Jackie, Chris, Peter (Cora) and many other relatives and friends, especially his next door neighbors Rose & Bob and management, staff and residents, especially Theresa, at Riverside Country Manor, Mount Carmel, where he resided. Resting at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent's, on Sunday, January 17, from 2 - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 18, at 10am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent's. Cremation to follow.
