Born in Newfoundland 44 years ago, he had lived in Hamilton for the last 27 years. Mr. Walsh was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. He was a valued employee of the Steel Company of Canada and a member of the Quarter Century Club of that company. Surviving are his widow, Margaret; one son, Patrick R. and two daughters, Joan and Janet, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. W. J. Maynard, Mrs. G. J. Marshall and Miss Laura Walsh, all of Hamilton and one brother, James V. of California. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday from the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home to St. John the Baptist church for Requiem Mass at 9 am with burial in Holy Sepluchre Cemetery.7
