Passed away at her home in St. Mary's, on August 11, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family, Rita St. Croix (nee White), aged 89 years. Predeceased by husband Ignatius, son Ronald, daughter Georgina, granddaughter Jackie, parents John & Martha White, one sister, seven brothers and sons- in-law Donald Bishop and John Boland. Leaving to mourn her sons: Ignatius (Debbie), Harold, Paul (Pam) and Eugene; daughters: Christine Smith (Cal), Jeanette Boland, Marion Bishop, Diane Hearn (Wayne), Shirley Fagan (Kevin) and Rhona Bishop (Paul). twenty-three grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, sister Patricia Luby (Russ), daughter-in-law Monica St. Croix, son-in-law Casimir Dobbin; sisters-in law Carmel St. Croix, Bernadette Duggan, Marg Singleton, Veronica White and Lorraine St. Croix, her dear care givers Elaine White and Eileen St. Croix, special friend Betty St. Croix and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Saturday, August 13, from 7 - 9pm and Sunday, August 14, 2 - 9pm (No visitation on Monday). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 15, at 10am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of NL.
Mother you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide,
although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Russell White, beloved husband of the late Ida Marshall, died at North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, Monday, September 23, 1996, in his 86th year.
Loving father of Elizabeth White of Cochrane, Alberta, Carmel Follis (Ernie) of Orillia, Janet White of Edmonton, Connie White of Calgary and Russell Jr. (Rosslyn) of North Bay.
Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren - Jennifer, Lindsay, Robyn, Brock, Jessie, Jordan and Victoria Ida.
Loving brother of Sr. Mary Corona.
Predeceased by his parents; Alice and Richard White, a sister; Marguerite Patterson, and brothers; Clarence White, Edmund Wyse and James Wyse.
Mr. Russell White was a probation and parole officer with the Ministry of Solicitor General and Correctional Services and was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Assn. 406 Wing.
