Passed peacefully away, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Health Sciences Center, on March 20, 2007, Mary Ellen St. Croix, of St. Mary’s, aged 63 years. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Isabell Butler, father-in-law Clifford St. Croix and brother-in-law Ed St. Croix. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Bernard St. Croix; daughters: Rhonda Bursey (Tom) and Lisa George (Glen); son Bernard St. Croix (Phyllis); sisters: Teresa Butler (Wayne Colson) and Betty Chamberlain (Don); brother William Butler (Doreen); grandchildren: Rylee, Devin, Mark and Ryan; mother-in-law Alice St. Croix; brothers-in-law: Dan (Josephine), Brendan (Daphne), Darrell (Valerie), Keith (Mavis); sisters-in-law: Jean (John), Irene (Arno), Marilyn (Tommy), Karen (Bert), Anna (Gerard), Elaine (Gerard); as well as many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends too numerous to name. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Clares 6 West, Health Sciences - 4 South B and to beloved sister Teresa for the care and compassion you have shown in the last five weeks. Resting at Gibbons Funeral Home, St. Mary's on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 2-4 pm (FAMILY ONLY) and 7-9 pm and Friday, March 23, 2007, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
