Note | Michael Power, a descendant of this Michael, believes that Michael most likely was a brother to the original Power settlers in North Harbour and Mount Carmel. He also believes that Michael may have had a son named Edmund. It's also possible that the name of Michael's wife was Mary Bonia or Mary Brien as there is a marriage record in the church records of St. John's Basilica in St. John's, Nfld. for a Michael Power of Wexford, Ireland marrying on November 17, 1793.1 | |
